About me:

mbphotographic was formed out of a desire to boost my confidence, an ego trip if you will.  I' ve always had an interest in photography from an early age, I think I got the bug from my Grandfather.  Ofcourse in his day, it was 35mm film or similar as digital was just a dream.

Anyway, getting back to mbphotographic.  There was a large chunk of my life (from teenage years to mid 30s) when I wasn't doing anything with photography but was still interested in it.

It wasn't until I got the on-line auction bug that things started happening.  From an early age I had always wanted an SLR camera like my father and grandfather.  I bought my first SLR for £40 and have never looked back.

Once I started taking pictures my new hobby grew into a passion and I decided that given the opportunity, I would like to be my own boss, doing something I enjoy.

I'm not my own boss yet, I still have a "proper job" but this could be the start of something fantastic, only time will tell.
