Just a short walk from the village of Falkland, you find yourself in a wonderful land of trees and waterfalls. It helps to be reasonably fit as the trail is mainly uphill but it is well worth the effort.

There was no particular reason for this shot, other than I liked it. Waterfalls are, in my opinion, a thing of beauty. Photographs where the water cascading over falls/rapids appears milky just appeal.
The Falls of Shin, famous for the mighty Salmon leaping up the rapids. The day I took this shot I saw a few salmon but like all the best anglers "you should 'a' seen the one that got away!"
I refuse to make further comment but they were definitely there - just camera shy!
